JASON WALLENSTEIN: Personal Biography

Jason and Denise met at Kampo Recording Studios in 1999. Jason (a self-proclaimed lowly intern at the time) offered to help Denise during the recording of “Beauty Lied” Jason says,”I told her I played bass, so she gave me a try, and then we made a CD.” He was also able to test out his engineering skills, and is credited with an add’l engineering/assisting credit.

Denise likes to think of Jay as the zen master of the band. “I have a tendency to be a little frenetic,..jay is always the one who’s even keel,..anything goes,..and he’s open to trying anything once,..of course the added benefit is he’s a great player and he comes up with great parts”

Jason has been involved in a few other projects, most recently, he performed on Kristi Martel’s record “Brave Enough”(Sealed Lip Records).

When not involved in musical projects, Jason has been working on finishing up his bachelor's degree at Brooklyn College.

In his spare time, he likes to take quiet walks through the forest and meditate
