DAVID WEINTRAUB: Personal Biography

David Weintraub "paints" lead guitar.

A veteran of the NYC rock scene, David tantalized audiences for 7 years with his band Mold while doing shows and recordings with Scout, The Rosenbergs, RedEyeFlight, and The Inevitable Breakups. Then Mold threw in the towel and the twins of Comedy and Tragedy crossed his path with that of singer/writer Dave Doobinan, out of which was born the much vaunted, much rocking, and ultimately fatally flawed east side darlings Skywriter.

A prolific writer/producer/mad scientist, David also keeps busy working on his concept album about aliens called The Visitors, staffed with members of Olabelle and This Way.

Once in a while he writes songs on an acoustic guitar and tries to sound like Neil Young...
